When is the last time you networked?

networking /ˈnetˌwərkiNG/ the action or process of interacting with others to exchange information and develop professional or social contacts.
When was the last time you attended a networking event? For some people networking and social events can be intimidating and even exhausting, but it doesn't have to be! I recently went outside my comfort zone and attended a networking event hosted by a local chamber of commerce, and I am so glad I did! I ended up having a great time meeting lots of nice, like-minded individuals. If you are looking to make more connections with other business owners, I highly recommend looking into your local chamber of commerce. It's a great way to market you AND your business.
Here are a few networking tips:
- Get out of your comfort zone
- Be authentic
- Network with anyone and everyone
- Be passionate when talking about what you do
- Always take care of your energy and mental health
